A Special Girl

A Special Girl

By Lauren Elisabeth Bell

Once there lived a lonely girl named Jessy. Jessy was a special little girl. She had a secret life with magical powers that she didn’t even know about.

She found out yesterday, when she was running from the cops because she stole food from a store, she somehow turned invisible. The cops looked everywhere, but Jessy was nowhere in sight. Today, the cops found her. She was running so fast, no one could see her. She wasn’t using the invisble power for sure. What power was she using? Then she found out. It was the speed power! She was going so fast. She quickly ran behind a bush.

Now, the cops sent out warnings for Jessy. They put cameras out everywhere. Jessy was scared. Right before she left the bushes, cops grabbed Jessy. Before she could say anything, she disappeared. She ended up at a stop sign. The cops were running to her. She used her invisible power. She really needed it. But, somehow, she started flying instead. Jessy didn’t see that coming! She flew straight up. Right before she could touch a cloud, she started floating down.

When she got to the ground, Jessy hid quickly and quietly. She hid behind a dumpster. She had to move from behind the dumpster. She quickly got up and ran behind a house. There was a guard dog. Once the guard dog saw Jessy, he started barking.

The owners ran outside. Jessy quickly got back behind the dumpster. A man called the police on Jessy. When the police saw her, Jessy saw dumpster writing. It said: “If you want to be yourself, be yourself. Be who you want to be.”

A glowing light surrounded Jessy. She began floating in the air. She didn’t know what was going on. She fell fast asleep. She woke up somewhere familiar. She felt like she had been here before. She was here before. It was her home! When everyone got up, she told a long story.

The End!
